For purpose of this research, the respondents will be asked to identify the kind of drugs they use and the age when they started using these illicit drugs. The respondents will be asked to determine the reason/s why they started using illegal drugs.Parental neglect The respondents will be asked whether they experienced neglect during their childhood and to describe the kind of relationship they have with their parents or whether they have substantiative or negat ive relationship with their parents. If they have negative relationship with their parents, a follow up question will be asked whether the participants have been subjected to physical, verbal or sexual abuse.
