The maturement of the city from 1900-1930 grew in both population and industry. The second stage was from 1930- 1950. This stage was a peripheral intricacy. The third stage was in 1950 1980 and the expansion headed north. The earth was cheap and communication was added as well as prefatorial services like power and water. The beginning of the quartern mannikin in 1980 continues today. In this phase Mexico City expand and has corporate with other smaller surrounding cities. The main understanding of the development of the urbanization is the migration into the city. Poverty has an effect on the urban development in Latin American cities like Mexico City. The plus in the population has left the cities with lower wages and little prolific land to farm.

The migration from the city has an impact on their decree as well. When there are not good remunerative jobs or worse no jobs at all the people of Mexico City look elsewhere for ways to make capital to financial backing their families.
